Mr. Valdivia brings over 20 years of sales and marketing experience. Knowledgeable of all facets of the real estate transaction, he brings a complete vision to the process of acquiring, managing, and liquidating real assets. Having also worked with many Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries, Mr. Valdivia understands the importance of channel partnerships and the revenue they represent. He has strategically positioned Unison with partners that not only will bring the best in services and technologies to market, but is constantly expanding Unison’s position and reach within the REO/Lending sector.

Steve LaRocque (President/CEO) AARE, CES

Steve has been in the auction industry for over 5 years. He specializes in Real Estate Auctions, having sold everything from raw land to commercial projects through the auction method of marketing. Steve has completed the distinguished Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate designation (AARE) and is a second year candidate in the prestigious Certified Auctioneer’s Institute (CAI). He has years of experience as a successful real estate investor and is also a Certified Estate and Probate Specialist. He is a recognized as an expert in the real estate field and has lectured at numerous events, including those organized by members of the California Assembly. Prior to founding SIMA Auctions, Steve managed national accounts for two Fortune 50 clients.

Robert Burgess

With a professional background of more than 20 years in software development, product management, sales and marketing, Robert has well-honed instincts for designing, developing, and applying detail-oriented systems. As an active real estate investor since 1989, he has acquired and successfully renovated and managed a variety of properties. Combining technological skills with a zeal for real estate, Robert clearly sees the vision for Unison's highly-performant yet easy-to-use online property transaction system. Living a well-rounded life is vitally important to him, and in his time off Robert relishes time with his lovely wife and their two adorable young sons.
